Qualification:
- Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from University of Dhaka
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from University of Dhaka
Experiences:
- Mr. Rahman has 15 years working experiences in national and multinational companies. He played Finance Director role in a renown multinational company joint venture with Bangladesh Chemical Industries Corporation (BCIC) for five years. He also played General Manager, Accounts and Finance, Head of Internal Control and Compliance role in country’s reputed listed company for three years.
- Mr. Rahman has vast experiences on SOX and system-based audit in national and multinational companies. He is a transformer of finance operation from traditional process into digitization. His successful implemented projects are “Zero Cash”, “Zero Paper”, “Venpro- a modern vendor management system” and “Concur- a web-based travel and expense claim”. He also implemented host to host payment and receipt system of more than 5 hundred vendors and 4 hundred customers of remote areas in Bangladesh of a multinational company partnering with local and foreign banks. He has experiences of consulting in developing ERP with ITC companies.
- Mr. Rahman has working experiences with KPMG and E&Y for statutory audit and complex income tax issues including transfer pricing. He is expert in dealing with complex tax issues in context of Bangladesh maintaining professional ethics and compliance with local Income Tax Act, 2023 VAT & SD Act 2012. He has experiences of doing health check of Income Tax and VAT of a company to make the company compliant ensuring sustainability.
- Mr. Rahman has working experiences in globally renown application software like gSAP, Hyperion, SBFC (Consolidation), CRISP, ERM (Enterprise Risk Management), Tally etc. for Accounting to Reporting. He has also working experiences on Management Reporting Harmonization (MRH) environment.
- Mr. Rahman visited various countries like- Turkey, Singapore, Malaysia, India & Sri Lanka etc. for professional training mostly in the field of Internal Control and Compliance, Leadership and IFRS. He successfully completed trainings- Foundation of Leadership, Sales Skill Course, Lead the Leaders, Seven Habits of Highly Effective People and IFRS etc.
